This stylish Octagonal model from Alton brings a touch of modern elegance to your garden, as well as horticultural practicality.
Made from the same warm hued western red cedar as the rest of the Evolution range, with the same rot resistant properties, this spacious high eaves model provides the perfect growing environment. With its 2 high-level side louvre vents and 2 automatic roof vents (which open and close with the changing temperature), it provides excellent ventilation, drawing fresh cool air from below, and pushing out stale warm air above.
Alton have made a number of improvements to their Octagonal models. Gone is the old timber staging and shelving, and replaced by optional sleek aluminium, which is powder-coated in a mellow Moss Green colour, giving your greenhouse real contemporary styling. Also, powder coated aluminium guttering, in the same Moss Green, has replaced the old PVC.
In keeping with the rest of the Evolution range, the Octagonals now come with an integral, powder coated, metal base plinth, and have the option to upgrade from cedar bar capping to powder coated aluminium, making your greenhouse virtually maintenance-free.
Some things haven't changed however, as the Octagonal models still maintain the same strong cedar frame, lockable hinged doors with low-level threshold, and toughened safety glass throughout.
