Janssens Modern Greenhouse
The Modern is a departure from the English aesthetic of most Janssens greenhouses. Its shed roof slopes only in one direction, giving its long wall an additional level of glass panels on one side. In addition to the lack of decorative Victorian spires, this makes for an updated look. Like all Janssens models its 4mm tempered glass and aluminum frame make it resilient enough to withstand strong wind gusts and most hail. Its doors and windows can be installed nearly anywhere, providing substantial flexibility in design. These features make the Modern an appealing alternative to the Royal Victorian line, offering the same benefits with a distinguished and striking new style.
Basically a free-standing "Lean-To" with a straight wall and a single sloped roof. The aluminum rafters & roof profiles are twice the thickness of standard units to support the long roof span. Larger units (M34/M36) include additional cross supports. We have pictures showing details. This unique design will come standard with a set of double-hinged doors, roof, and side windows. Due to the large roof glass, use of scaffolding is strongly recommended during assembly. M23: 1 set of double-hinged doors: 2 roof windows w/1 spindle 1 auto opener; 2 push out and 1 louver window; M34 1 set of double hinged doors: 2 roof windows w/1 spindle 1 auto opener; 2 push out and 2 louver window; M 36 same as M34. NOTE: IN 2024, the M34 and M36 models have traditional 4 cm overlapped glass panels on the roof rather than a single pane for ease & safety of delivery, handling, and assembly. This means no forklift delivery is necessary (M34 & M36), But M23 still needs a forklift.
